Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jumbo Joe Premium Charcoal Grill 22" Glad to find this grill! It has a 22" cooking surface, and enough space between grate and lid to cook large items, like whole roasts. I installed a (not included) Grill Mark brand Thermometer on the lid near the vent for accurate temperature control. I also drilled three damper holes on the lower deck, for ventilation like the older grills had. I've had the grill long enough to cook an 8 lbs. pork shoulder, sausage, bacon, and chicken and it works great for two zone cooking, snake method. I'm impressed by the ability to use it as a smoker BBQ, and hot grill. I also like the size more of the Jumbo Joe's "Kettle ". On the Weber Kettle version of the 22 inch grill, the lower deck ("Kettle ") is larger than I would like.
